- Keep wick cut at 1/8" before lighting
- To light a candle, tilt it at an angle and let flame draw across the length of the wick.
- The first burn is important. Allow the candle to burn for at least 1-2 hours to create a full and even wax pool. An uneven wax pool can drown the wick and cause problems lighting.
